Pyunkang Yul is a clean skincare line created by the Pyunkang Eastern Medicine Clinic in South Korea. Their brand philosophy is “less is more” and they only use safe and gentle ingredients. They believe that healthy skin is capable of retaining moisture and controlling oil production.
All Pyunkang Yul products are cruelty-free. Only minimal ingredients are used and are selected due to their mild and EWG green rating. Artificial fragrance and colourants are never used and many products have been tested by the Pyunkang Korean Medicine Skin Laboratory to ensure they are safe for even the most sensitive and delicate skin.

Puynkang Yul Essence Toner:
The Essence Toner is a skin repairing toner and essence hybrid made from 91.3% Astragalus Membranaceus Root Extract, a traditional Chinese medicinal remedy used for treating wounds, and inflammatory conditions. The root contains skin-protecting polysaccharides and UV-absorbing compounds that are capable of protecting against sun damage, strengthening damaged skin, and providing anti-aging benefits.

Pyunkang Yul Nutrition Cream:
The Nutrition Cream is a skin repairing and moisturizing cream containing Astragalus Membranaceus Root Extract, a traditional Chinese medicinal remedy used for treating wounds, and inflammatory conditions. This moisturizer is hydrating and nourishing and works as a gentle occlusive for using after applying strong active ingredients. It helps to restore the skin’s pH level after cleansing, strengthen the moisture barrier, heal damaged skin and improve overall skin health.

Pyunkang Yul Moisture Serum:
The Moisture Serum is a skin repairing and hydrating serum made from Coptic Japonica (Milk vetch) root extract, a traditional Chinese medicinal remedy used for treating inflammatory conditions. This light-weight hypoallergenic emulsion balances the skins moisture barrier, reduces sebum production, and hydrates the skin.

Pyunkang Yul Intensive Repair Cream:
The Intensive Repair Cream is a beautifully formulated cream that contains peptides and ceramides with the skin nourishing oils from the Macadamia seed and Shea Butter nut. This results in the strengthening of the skins moisture barrier while also being incredibly hydrating and calming to irritated or dry skin.
Pyunkang Yul Low pH Scalp Shampoo:
The Low pH Scalp Shampoo is a gentle sulfate-free shampoo formulated at pH 5.0-6.0, within the range of a healthy scalp (5.4-5.9). It is gentle enough to prevent stripping the scalp of its natural oils, yet effective enough to thoroughly cleanse. It contains five different gentle surfactants and Tea Tree leaf extract and oil, Camellia extract and Ginger root extract to sooth an irritated and sensitive scalp.
While this is not the entire Pyunkang Yul range (they have many other wonderful products suited to sensitive skin), I only like to talk about products I have personally tried and can honestly review.
